The Brewery ArtWalk held its Fall event the weekend of October 9 and 10, 2010.
Supporting L.A.'s finest artists while enlightening the collector and curioso alike.
Los Angeles, CA -
The Brewery Artwalk stayed true to form: drawing art lovers from every walk of life, to its downtown L.A. industrial complex. The complex was once an old
Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery which became converted into one of the world's largest artists' live-work compounds.
With over 100 participating artists, private studios, and galleries, there was opportunity galore to see new works, discover new favorites, speak with the artists
and purchase artwork directly from the artists (at studio prices, no less!).
Believe it or not; but, the best part of the ArtWalk wasn't the artwork at all! Although the art pops out at you like any perfect eye-candy should, the best part of
The Brewery Artwalk is the fact that by providing such an event (with free admission and free parking), it brings in attendees to look at art who usually never do.
Another powerful impact provided by such an event is that the artists can have an opportunity to share their inspiration with those who walk the spacious halls. And many
times that connection is just what is needed to embolden someone to make an investment in that wonderful world called art.
