Hollywood - "Batting Stance Guy is an American original, and a genius.." says Neil Best of Newsday.com.
"This guy does an OUTSTANDING imitation of professional ballplayers at the plate." wrote Mike Silva of New York Baseball Digest.
"Gar Ryness, also known in Major League Baseball circles as "Batting Stance Guy". If you have not seen this guy's act it's definitely worth checking out!" blogged djr-o
Gar Ryness is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Easy-going and down-to-earth, he never makes you feel unwelcome. One other thing is very clear: this man LOVES baseball!
Gar can mimic the batting stance of nearly anyone who has played the game. If that wasn't enough, he can go year by year, any team, any player.
When asked why he does it, his answer is, "It's more of a love song to baseball than 'I want to be on TV.' It's been really gratifying to have all these people 're-fall' in love with a chunk of
their youth. It feels like I've unearthed something people did in their backyard when they were 12 years old and that they've always found funny."
Now, for your viewing pleasure, we bring to you, The Batting Stance Guy.
