Independant Reviews - the "IN" show Way

Movies, books, products, food, places, events...each one a gem in its own right. The "IN" show isn't here to judge, critique, or make-or-break anyone/anything. The "IN" show is here to study, examine, and consider retrospectively that which is presented.

Each review is created with respect for the creative process. Each director, author, artist, musician, et cetera, has poured themself in some way, shape and form into their creation. How amazing that energy is!

Each review is written with purpose. We give a viewpoint that is intended to be a map to the reader and a voice for the creator. If by fortuosity the reader is awakened to try something they may not have - we've accomplished our purpose. In the same respect, if by that same fortuosity the creative minds behind whatever we review feel they've been given a fair shake - we have accomplished our purpose as well.

The "IN" show isn't here to candy-coat or air-brush the reviews. We aren't here to wax poetic or to spoon feed junk. No, we are here to but be a third person that can be trusted by our readers and the creative owners alike. In our "perfect world," we are the person you can trust to either keep you up to speed with what is new and exciting or give you a fair opportunity to have your masterpiece (whatever it may be) given an open-minded consideration.

Caleb Cushing put it best, "Entertaining these opinions of the course to be pursued, I beg of gentlemen to look at the question, as I have done, in a calm review of facts and of principles."

We hope we've honored Mr. Cushing's viewpoint. More than that, we hope you enjoy our two-cents because we most certainly enjoyed ourselves with the review process! (I've called dibbs on the extra large, double-stuffed, chocolate-chip cookie review!)
