The "IN" Show - Thursdays 1-2pm US/Pacific [September 1, 2011]
Mark Anderson:
Producing songs that endure the test of time.
Hollywood, CA -
In every generation there are great artists, fueled by an insatiable will to create, that leave this realm known by few,
unknown by most, whose artistic legacy survives long past their time here.
This generation; however, is fortunate enough to still have an artist whose music falls under the category of greatness
but stills dwells amongst us. His name: Mark Anderson.
Mark Anderson's music stems from a life full and rich with experience: From his cross-country journey
in an old ford pick-up truck to leaving one of his favorite song-writing places (the Gates of Graceland) to finding
his way to LA in order to fulfill his destiny.
His journey has been filled with both highs and lows; and, this journey which would have wounded most men, only made him stronger.
Embracing life's gamut, Mark Anderson never stopped writing songs, creating music, or forging friendships.
His dynamic outlook afforded him the incredible fortune to play with the best of the session musicians, enabled him to hone
his craft, and has brought him to this place: Producing songs that will endure the test of time and be loved by this and future
generations.
When asked how he continues to flow with creativity and make music that speaks to the soul, Mark sums it up
with this powerful statement, "It's all here inside of me."
How lucky we are that he lets it out and shares it all with us.
