Jamie Meyer is as much an all-American boy as he is a beloved son of Gothenburg; and, he has taken the art of crossover country to a whole new level.
Making music filled with heart, hope, and expectation, Jamie Meyer has created music that is reminiscent of the heydays of both John Cougar Mellencamp and
Brian Adams while blending his melodious lyrics with a rich combination of classic country, smooth rock, and just the right amount of pop.
Jamie's powerful use of imagery in his lyrics creates moving emotion in the listener. He subtly accents the nuances of life's ups and downs without ever
becoming melodramatic or woefully depressing. His commanding voice is his fingerprint: Engaging, full, with depth and control. In delivering his messages with well-crafted tunes, Jamie is quickly finding a platform for his country pop rock.
His music not only crosses over musical genres, but; it also reaches out to listeners young and old by providing a sincere and realistic view of what really
happens when we choose to grab life by the horns and live it to its fullest.
For many who may not know, Jamie Meyer is in no way new to the music scene! In 2003, Jamie took on Sweden's "Popstar" and walked away with more than his fair share of success! Keeping
his eye on the prize, he released his first single, "Psycho," and the rest can be said, "is history!"
Jamie has hit every major dream dreamt by aspiring musicians. He has had a contract with a major label. He has traveled the world over, acquiring a staunch following and loyal fan base.
He has played in most every major city in the U.S. He has even brought his music to L.A., won singer/songwriter of the year at LA Music Awards (2008), and received a nomination for his
third album "Good Night To Be Young" at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2010.
As is evidenced by Jamie's prolific list of songs, he is definitely not one to stop and let life pass him by. He has been attending M.I.,
has just released his newest album, "Good Night To Be Young" (10/12/10), and his preparing for the his next big gig: Nashville!
