Long Beach Comic Expo 2012
Long Beach, CA -
It's hard to believe that Long Beach Comic Con had its inaugural show in October of 2009! Harder still to believe is that the folks that run the LBCC show
are able to pull off such a fantastic one-day event in the form of the Long Beach Comic Expo.
Scores of attendees showed up to attend Q&A sessions, sit in on panel discussions, visit with the talent in Artist's Alley and check out what's new with exhibitors.
What might be considered to be the largest crowd to date for the one-day event, it was exciting to see the array of workshops provided and topics discussed!
The most refreshing part of the Long Beach Expo (for this writer, anyway) is the exposure offered to artists of every genre. The artists were in top form and more than
happy to take a moment to share their art and talk shop with LBCExpo attendees.
Long Beach Comic (Expo | Horror) Con is the brainchild of Martha Donato and Phil Lawrence. Ms. Donato (LBCC Executive Director), the President of MAD Event Management,
has over 15 years of experience in producing annual, large-scale comic book and pop culture conventions. Mr. Lawrence (Sales Director), is the President of InPrint Media and
brings his 18+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, and the comics field to the Long Beach Comic (Expo | Horror) Con.
Each year, Long Beach Comic (Expo | Horror) Con manages to grow bigger and better while balancing the terrain of needing to keep creators and fans connected.
Surely, the Long Beach Comic (Expo | Horror) Con is not only here to stay but also is destined to become the ComicCon that is a must attend for every Comic Creator, Fan, and Afficianado.
The next event from Long Beach Comic (Expo | Horror) Con is the Long Beach Comic/Horror Con to be held November 3 and 4, 2012. Visit the LBCC here
and follow them on twitter here.
See you at the next LBCC/HC!
