TaDah! Eat Good Do Good LLC Falafel Wrap:
Product Review.
Anaheim - CATaDah'sFalafel Wraps are a premium handheld food that are perfect for eating on the go. Made from scratch, TaDah!'s wraps are filled with
a delicious patty made using ground chickpeas (for those unfamiliar with Middle Eastern a.k.a. Mediterranean food...this is the falafel part), topped with
one of their amazing "signature spreads," all handrolled in a soft, whole-wheat tortilla shell.
Unlike many food items on the shelf, TaDah!'s Falafel Wraps were made for more than just eating. TaDah!'s founder, John Sorial, determined to combine his
love and knowledge of food with his passion to serve the less fortunate. Thus, after nearly two years of research and development, TaDah!Eat Good Do Good, LLC
rolled out a delicious food that is healthy, all natural, extremely tasty and, with 30% of all profits going to non-profit organizations, a great resource for social
responsibility.
When we had our first look at the falafel wrap, we were impressed by how fresh and tasty it looked. We then found out that these are a frozen food item. "Get out!" was
our first thought; and yet, right before our eyes, the folks from TaDah! were preparing these yummy looking wraps for all at the Natural Products Expo to sample. And sample
we did!
Since we've been clear as to how good the food looked, we best move on to how it tasted. First, the texture: the wraps are a delectable combination of creamy spread, warm
tortilla and crunchy but moist falafel. The food was compacted enough to bring hartiness to its taste and yet not overdone by any of the ingredients so that one could actually
taste all that went into the wrap itself.
Now, the taste. TaDah!'s falafel wrap delivered. Presently, TaDah! has three different falafels on the market: Feta Salsa, Sweet-n-Spicy Harissa, and Lemon-Garlic Hummus. We had
the immense pleasure of trying the Lemon-Garlic and I can say it was DELISH! How on this great, green earth John figured out how to find the perfect comination of lemon zest and
garlic "oomph" to blend into his hummus spread may not be for me to know; but, I can certainly delight in its savor as often as I want since I can have some waiting for me in my freezer.
Since the falafels are a frozen food item, meant to be quickly and easily heated for that quick munch on the run, this makes them a wonderful alternative to those quick fast-food runs,
the extremely overdone frozen burritos; or, for those watching their caloric intake, the insanely fattening hot-pockets, pot pies, and t.v. dinners.
TaDah!'s Falafel Wraps are meant to be an authentic fresh food item that marries the new and exotic with the need for quick and easy. This they do fantastically! TaDah!Eat Good Do Good, LLc -
the company - was created to be driven by corporate responsibility with the intention of giving back to the community. Whether or not they do that is up to us the consumers.
We at the "IN" show love both the idea of TaDah! and its product. If you are already a fan of Middle Eastern food or if your taste buds have yet to taste the savory cuisine from that part of our world,
we encourage you to go to your local retailer and pick up some of the tantalizing wraps. If your local retailer doesn't carry the product, DEMAND IT! Most importantly, share it; because in sharing this food
and this mission, we work together to make this world a better place.
The folks from TaDah! put it best, "Eat good. You'll Do Good as well."
You can find TaDah! online at TaDahFoods.com. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
Before you go, though, be sure to get close and personal with John Sorial. The Doctor gave the "IN"
show a fun and fast interview on his company, its mission, and their product while we were at the National Products Expo 2011. Enjoy!
