Well Go USA's Dead Snow 2: Red Vs. Dead.
Hear we go again!
West Hollywood, CA -
Dead Snow 2 is the fast-paced, visually satisfying follow-up film to Dead Snow by Filmmaker Tommy Wirkola.
SYNOPSIS:
Martin (Vegar Hoel) hasn't had the best vacation. He accidentally killed his girlfriend with an axe. He cut his own arm off
with a chainsaw. And his friends STILL got devoured by a battalion of Nazi Zombies.
This morning, he woke up in a hospital bed with a new arm - but it's a super-powered Zombie arm that wants to kill him,
and anyone else it can reach.
Martin's PISSED. And with the help of his new Zombie Squad pals (Martin Starr, Jocelyn DeBoer, Ingrid Haas),
he's gonna deliver some payback to Colonel Herzog and his precious Nazi gold - by raising an undead army of his own.
Much can be said about the Zombie movie genre as a whole. And a lot of the conversation isn't very flattering. However, in
the case of Wirkola's Dead Snow 2: Red Vs. Dead, this film is quite good for what it is!
Successfully combining humor, gore, (and nazis), Wirkola takes us on a vendetta quest with the lone survivor (Vegar Hoel) of
a zombie attack who is simultaneously trying to make sense of everything that has happened to him. From love lost to hell bent
nazis to zombie resurrection power, Wirkola weaves intrigue and suspense with stunning visual acumen.
Dead Snow 2: Red Vs. Dead is not a typical gory zombie flick. Instead, it keeps with the comedic timing of
the first Dead Snow while delivering with some great cinematography and acting that fits the mood of the film.
