on his directorial debut of the film, WARREN.

Alex Beh is what you could call a Hollywood triple threat: He acts, he writes, and he directs. In fact, his directorial
debut, Warren, is setting to have its World Premiere at the prestigious Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
SYNOPSIS: After giving up on making it in the Chicago improv scene, a young comedian (Alex Beh) fatefully reconnects with a
former love (Sarah Habel) while working at a coffe shop in his hometown. The serendipity of the occurrence could alter his
planned life track, and he must then decide between winning her back or attempting to pursue his career of comedy again.
Alex took his experience of improv, having studied in Chicago at The Second City, and combined it with the premise of "what
if the girl you thought you were going to marry came back into your life?" Definitely a coming-into-one's-own story, Warren
explores the dynamics of the parent/child relationship, the idea of growing old alone, and the fear of not reaching your dreams.
Warren boasts a stellar cast! (Alex Beh, Sarah Habel, John Heard, Jean Smart, Andrew Santino, Joesph A. Nunez, Austin Stowell,
Greg Hollimon, & Bruce Jarchow) So, it's not surprising to hear Alex share that his ideas for Warren have, in the finished film,
"exceeded and transformed" even his own expectations.
We caught up with Alex by phone to talk about the making of Warren, its upcoming premiere, and the art of filmmaking
in general. Alex made a striking statement about the creative process: "With any creative endeavor...it takes on a new life..."

to make it a point to see the World Premiere Alex Beh's Warren! Its World Premiere is set to screen on Saturday, February 1st at
1:20pm at Metro Theater 2 located at 618 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. Additional screenings to be held on Sunday,
February 2nd at 7:00PM at Metro Theater 1 and Tuesday, February 4th at 8:30AM at Metro Theater 4.
